Perlas wins fourth straight in 2015 Fiba Asia Women’s

Perlas Pilipinas bagged its fourth straight win in the 2015 Fiba Asia Women’s Championship after an 80-73 overtime triumph over Kazakhstan Wednesday in Wuhan, China.

Marenciana Arayi scored 13 of the Filipinos’ 17 points in the extra frame to lift Perlas to a 4-1 record Group Phase for its best finish yet in the early stages.

The Philippines finished the 2013 group stages at 3-2.

Arayi led the Philippines with 28 points and five rebounds while Afril Bernardino owned the glass wtih 14 rebounds to go along her four points.

Tamara Yagodkina led the Khazaks with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
