Social media went abuzz on Wednesday afternoon after the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons won over the De La Salle University Green Archers for the first time since 2009 in the UAAP season basketball tournament.

The hashtag #UPFight trended second worldwide and in the Philippines, beating the #ALDUBKapitLang hashtag of Eat Bulaga’s hit “Kalyeserye” segment.
