Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) is bringing the ITF Futures tournament to the country next month.
The tournament, which awards 27 Association of Tennis Professionals points to the champion, will hold Week 1 on Oct. 5 to 11 at Manila Polo Club and Week 2 on Oct. 12 to 17 at PCA courts.
“We’re happy to support the tournament as it will be a perfect opportunity for our national players to test their mettle against some of the world’s best,” said Jean Hernri Lhuillier, president and CEO of PCA backer Cebuana Lhuillier.
Top 300 to 700 world-ranked players are expected to vie for the championship. Expected to lead the local crew are PJ Tierro, Johnny Arcilla, Francis Casey Alcantara, Jeson Patrombon and 16-year-old AJ Lim.
