Chris Banchero will stay with Alaska through the 2016 season after inking a one-year extension.
The 6-foot-1 sophomore playmaker put the rumors of his ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) return to sleep as the Aces team governor Dickie Bachmann sealed the deal on Thursday.
Banchero allegedly has been courted by the Singapore Slingers of the regional league before signing the extension with Alaska.
He played in the ABL before, winning a championship with the San Miguel Beermen in the 2013 season.
