Park eyes Cangolf ‘three-peat’

PARK Min Ung leads a Korean contingent set to slug it out with the country’s leading players in the Canlubang Amateur Open, which fires off Oct. 7 at Cangolf’s South course in Laguna. Park, who squeezed out a one-stroke victory over Tonton Asistio last year, has confirmed his participation in the 54-hole tournament, where he is seeking a third straight title. The local field will be led by Jobim Carlos, Jelbert Gamolo and Rupert Zaragosa.
