NCAA: Teodoro explodes for 32, JRU ties for third
Tey Teodoro lit up and carried Jose Rizal University to a 64-55 victory over Lyceum Tuesday in the NCAA Season 91 basketball tournament at San Juan Arena.
The JRU gunslinger finally got his groove going and fired a career-high 32 points on a scorching 6-of-12 shooting, alongside two rebounds and two assists to help the Heavy Bombers grab a share of the third spot with Perpetual at 11-6.

It was a scintillating stretch for the Heavy Bombers as they remain in the running for a Final Four berth with a fifth straight victory.
“The opportunity is in our hands now. Nasa amin na yung chances (We have our own chances.),” said Meneses. “We’re getting there.”

Abdel Poutouochi provided the compliment for Teodoro with seven markers, 17 rebounds, and four blocks, while Pontejos also got seven points.
Jean Nguidjol led Lyceum with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Joseph Gabayni got 11 markers and 10 boards in the defeat.
