NU Pep Squad’s three-peat draws mixed reactions

The NU Pep Squad’s three-peat conquest in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition has drawn mixed reactions.

On social media, fans and observers alike offered differing opinions about the placings in this year’s competition.

But first-runner up UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe believed that the NU Pep Squad was deserving of the feat.

“They deserve it,” said Salinggawi coach Ramon Pagaduan IV.

Second runner-up UP Pep Squad, meanwhile, offered no comments when pressed by the members of the media about the NU win.

NU edged the other seven schools with 668 points, which was followed by UST with 651.5 points, and UP with 610.5 points.

“Maybe our advantage was we’re already ahead, ten times away from last year’s performance. That’s why if ever anyone catches up, we know that the score won’t be that close,” said NU coach Ghicka Bernabe in Filipino.
