Pagunsan 10 off the pace in Japan tourney

HYOGO—Filipino ace Juvic Pagunsan managed a two-over-par 73 Friday to trail Kim Kyung-tae of South Korea by 10 strokes halfway through the Mynavi ABC Championship at ABC Golf Club course. Kim fired a 69 for 135 to pace the field by two strokes. Pagunsan shared 43rd spot with nine others at 145. The tournament’s only other Filipino entry, Angelo Que, missed the cut with rounds of 77-71 for 148. Frankie Miñoza ruled the event in 2007. Asian Tour News
