4 Eagle Ridge courses ready for 4×4 Invt’l

THE FOUR championship courses—Faldo, Norman, Aoki and Dye—would be put to a test as 600 players have registered for the 4×4 Invitational, a two-weekend tournament of the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite.

The member-guest event presented by CGM, slated Nov. 7 and 8 and 13 and 14, is something unique to Eagle Ridge as it is the only major club affair in the Philippines that utilizes four par-72 layouts.

Each game day, the 300 two-man teams will compete using different formats—Stableford scoring at Norman and Faldo and best ball and scramble at Aoki and Dy.

A maximum score of 6-under shall be enforced in aggregate. It will be 10-under in the Scramble and 7-under in best ball.
