NCR secures twin crowns

Jed Labasano and Michael Tuazon secured two titles for the home bets in the recent Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championship held at Angeles City Tennis Club.

Labasano took the 16-and-Under boys’ title over National Capital Region’s Joseph Gadon, 6-4, 6-2, while Tuazon partnered with Cavite’s Rainier Selmar to rule the 14-U boys’ doubles.

NCR’s Macie Carlos posted a double as she blanked Althea Faye Ong of Olongapo, 6-0, 6-0, and Bulacan’s Nicole Mercado, 6-0 , 6-0 for the 14-U title.

Bataan’s Collen Sioson likewise emerged double winner after downing Patricia Lim of Quezon City, 6-1, 6-1, in 16-U, and Aimea Rosales, 6-1, 6-1, in 18-U.
