HD Spikers, Lady Slammers out to rebound in Malolos

Its winning streak halted by two successive losses, Cignal attempts to reconnect and secure a semifinal berth when it takes on struggling RC Cola-Air Force today in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix women’s volleyball in Malolos, Bulacan.

Also reeling from a recent defeat, Philips Gold tries to vent its ire on winless Meralco in the second game of “Spike on Tour” at Malolos Convention Center.

HD Spikers imports Amanda Anderson and Ariel Usher remain unfazed by the squad’s setbacks after roaring to five straight victories in the first-round.

“It’s bound to happen,” said Anderson. “This is a tough league, teams are evenly balanced, and they have adjusted against us pretty quickly.”

It’s uncertain, though, if the Raiders have sorted out what’s bugging them after losing five straight games.
