Supremo Lex posts 2 wins; Euro-Med up in PCBL Cup
Supremo Lex continued its climb in the PCBL Founders Cup Friday night when it picked up its second straight win at the expense of Kama Motors, 96-85, at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Joseph Gabayni and Jayson Escueta complemented each other inside the shaded lane as they combined for 35 points and 18 rebounds for Supremo Lex, which dropped its first four games in the tournament supported by Spalding, Ambucore, Accel and Aquabest.
The team of coach Ralph Rivera built a 51-32 half time lead and leaned on Gabayni, Escueta, and Teytey Teodorokeep to keep their rivals at bay.

Euro-Med played an inspired game, but needed some big baskets down the stretch from Mar Villhermosa to climb to 3-3.
