Spike for Peace: USA recovers to thrash Australia A

United States regrouped after a first-set hiccup in a masterful performance against Australia A in the opening day of Spike for Peace Sunday at Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

After dropping a 21-23 loss in the first set, the Americans cruised to a 21-13, 15-10, scoreline in the following two sets. 

Emily Stockman and Jennifer Snyder were on point for the US in the second set with their timely drops confusing the Australians. 

Becchara Palmer and Sarah Battaglene were put to the mercy of the Americans as they found no defensive solution to the tip-ins of Snyder and Stockman.
