SHIN Kyun Choi of Korea topped the King of Sports Open poker tournament held at KoS Resto Bar in Quezon City recently.
Choi upstaged 34 other qualifiers from the three-day eliminations. Jessie Leonarez finished second while Jeff Sibal wound up third in the event that lured 186 participants.
Previous winners were Emong Sevilla, Domingo Ylanan, Bing Soriano, Rey Osete, Venoni Paltep, Jr., Rommel Angeles, Christopher Carabido, Michael de Leon, Robert Panlilio, Eman Segismundo and Maxwell Rosete.
KoS general manager Mike Mariano said more than P2 million will be up for grabs in December tournaments, starting with the elimination rounds on Dec. 26 to 30.
