Terrence Romeo never fails to dazzle the crowd with his basketball wizardry and shotmaking — whether he’s playing in the PBA or in a 3-on-3 tournament.

And it’s no surprise that the GlobalPort guard was voted as the 2015 Fiba 3×3 Most Spectacular Player.

“I’m thankful to Fiba for the honor they’ve given me,” the former FEU Tamaraw said.

More than playing in a 3-on-3 tournament where his ability to break down his opponents thrives, Romeo said that what he looks forward to the most is giving the fans a show.

“I love the crowd,” he said. “I look forward on the return of 3×3 basketball here and hopefully, I could play again.”

Romeo’s Manila West failed to defend the Manila Masters title after coming up short against Calvin Abueva and Manila North in the semifinals back in August. But that did not stop Romeo from being named as the Most Outstanding Player of the first leg of the World Tour.

“3×3 is like streetball. You can do everything you want. It brings so much memories on the games played on streets. Now there’s a level like this where you can compete against the rest of the world.”

Ever the showman, the Gilas Pilipinas star can’t wait to raise the country’s flag anew in the international scene.

“The international crowd are now appreciating our game, so I’m just thankful for that,” Romeo said. “I’ll try to get better so I can provide a better show, not just for Filipinos but also for them, in the future.
