Rousey to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Jan. 23
Ronda Rousey has been the subject of one of the nastiest turnarounds in sports when she lost to Holly Holm.
Her loss sent her into a downward spiral in the eyes of spectators, but “Rowdy” remains one of the most sought-after figures in the sporting world.

Rousey announced the assignment on her Instagram account, saying she is feeling “beyond excited/nervous/honored” for the part.
“Hopefully you’ll be watching and laughing either at or with me that night,” she also said in the same post.
Article continues after this advertisementAs per Sports Illustrated, Rousey joins boxers Marvin Hagler, George Foreman, and Evander Holyfield as fighters to host the show.
Other athletes who hosted SNL include hockey’s Great One Wayne Gretzky, the NFL brothers Peyton and Eli Manning, and NBA legends Bill Russell, Charles Barkley, and Michael Jordan.
