Alaska and GlobalPort will still have complete rosters for Game 3 even after the near bench-clearing scuffle Wednesday night.
There were no suspensions doled out but PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa has slapped fines totaling to over P90,000 for the fracas that happened in the first quarter of game 2 of the semifinals series between the Batang Pier and Aces.
Calvin Abueva emerged with the biggest penalty of everyone involved with a total of P41,600 in fines—P20,000 for instigating a commotion; P1,600 for second motion; P10,000 for confronting PBA vice chairman Erick Arejola; and another P10,000 for confronting Anthony Semerad and Jay Washington.

Teammate Vic Manuel was also penalized with P11,600, with the P10,000 as a result of shoving Washington twice and the P1,600 for second motion.
Dondon Hontiveros also was meted a P1,000 fine for his first technical foul of the conference.
Washington, who was thrown out late in the game, received the heftiest penalty from the GlobalPort side with P4,000 for his second and third technical fouls this Philippine Cup.

Semerad also has to cough up P1,000 for the technical foul, while fellow Batang Pier Joseph Yeo and Dorian Peña also were fined P1,000 for the technical fouls called on them later in the game.
The series-tying 100-76 win for the Aces saw a total of 16 technical fouls called, 13 in the stretch of scuffle stretch alone, which tied the league record set by the Alaska-Shell game back in 1997.
Coincidentally, Narvasa was the coach of the Turbo Chargers in that game held Butuan.

Coaching staff members of both squads who tried to help out in de-escalating the heated situation were likewise fined for leaving the bench.
Alaska Head coach Alex Compton and assistant coaches Louie Alas, Jeffrey Cariaso, and Monch Gavieres, GlobalPort team manager Bonnie Tan and head coach Pido Jarencio were all penalized P5,000 each.
Both GlobalPort governor Erick Arejola and Alaska team manager Dickie Bachmann, who also tried to pacify the situation, were spared from the fines but the two governors will receive a letter from the PBA Board regarding their actions.
