Boxing scholar Rivera dies, 77

BOXING scholar Hermie Rivera has died in the United States. Nigel Collins, former The Ring Magazine editor in chief, yesterday tweeted about Rivera’s demise at 77. Rivera was a former broadcaster and contributor to various publications, including PhilBoxing.com. He was the former manager of Luisito Espinosa, a two-division world boxing champion.
