Rising Stars » Kicking it with Jesseree Faye

Jesseree Faye (left most, semiseated, first row): a spiker turned striker.

Jesseree Faye Mangonon—smart and sporty rolled into one—is a spiker turned striker after giving up volleyball to fully focus on football.

A 15-year-old scholar at Quezon City Science High School, Jesseree is unlike any other teenager her age as she excels in sports and academics—but admits that balancing both is the toughest thing to do.

A midfielder in her school’s varsity team, Jesseree recalled  her most memorable moment in the field  was when she struck a sweet goal in the 2009 Alaska Cup.

With Jesseree in the fold, QCSHS has bagged numerous trophies including a championship in the 2010 ACC Tournament and second place finishes in the 2010 Division Meet and the 2011 Cavite Football Association (CAFA) among others.
