Tough X Rough races get going in Laguna
A spot in the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Canada is at stake in the Philippine edition of the Tough X Rough, considered as the first international OCR series in the country, that kicked off early this month.
Held in partnership with TV5 and TxR Asia, the race is patterned after military-type commando training which will see competitors participate in eight races, including the national championship in August.
The winners in the men’s and women’s individual races will earn tickets to the World Championships at Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario, Canada, on Oct. 15, along with the champions in the team event.
