Liga superstars reinforce PH team in Bangkok meet

THE PHILIPPINE Superliga “It Girls” are expected to make the national squad to the Thai-Denmark Super League women’s club invitationals next month.

With massive talent, charm and fan base, F2 Logistics’ Cha Cruz and Aby Maraño, RC Cola-Army’s Rachel Daquis, Philips Gold’s Michele Gumabao and Cignal’s Jheck Dionela reportedly got the inside track in the selection for the Philippine team in the Bangkok meet slated March 23 to 29.

Also reported to be on the short list are Cignal’s Jeannete Panaga and April Ross Hingpit, Foton’s Maika Ortiz and Rhea Dimaculangan, and Petron’s Ces Molina.

The national pool has been training at Far Eastern University gym.

Six Thai clubs and one each from Hong Kong and the Philippines are seeing action in the tournament won by Bangkok Glass last year.
