FILIPINO Davis Cupper Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi of Belarus bowed to South African Raven Klaasen and American Rajeev Ram, 6-4, 6-2, Thursday in the Miami Open men’s doubles semifinals.
Klaasen and Ram broke serve once in the first set and twice in the second to wrap up the match in just over an hour and march to the finals.
Huey and Mirnyi split the $82,410 purse and gained 360 points that should boost the Filipino’s world ranking.
