De La Salle University still has two games left, one of which against defending champion Ateneo, but with the twice-to-beat edge already in the bag, head coach Ramil de Jesus admitted the team has shifted its sights on the Final Four.

La Salle clinched a top two finish after an easy win over University of the East, 25-16, 25-17, 25-11, on Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

“Ngayon focus na siguro sa semis (Now our focus is on the semifinals),” De Jesus said. “Unti-unti na kaming mag-viewing ng either NU or UP (We’re going to start and view tapes of NU or UP).”

Despite a sure spot in the Final Four, De Jesus would not allow his team to take it easy for the remainder of the calendar.

De Jesus said rest is not an option for the Lady Spikers.

“Pahinga? Wala sa vocabulary namin yan, siguro tamang recovery lang (Rest? We don’t have that in our vocabulary),” said De Jesus, who looks forward to the Ateneo-La Salle match. “Di pwedeng sabihing no bearing yan, yung mga bata may pride yan eh (You can’t say that it’s a no-bearing game. These kids have pride).”
