UFL semis dogfights today

DEFENDING champion Kaya takes a crack at Ceres-La Salle’s star-studded squad when they square off for a place in the United Football League Cup finals tonight at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. with Kaya hoping to sustain its fine form from the AFC Cup against a Ceres side that has also made an impact in its debut in the continental tournament.

Ceres boasts of Nationals like Stephan Schrock, Manny Ott, Martin Steuble and Juani Guirado, but Kaya has played with a spring in its step the past few weeks with a defense marshalled by veterans Aly Borromeo and Masanari Omura.
