“We didn’t really play consistent today. We were consistent in being inconsistent, but we have to give credit to coach Topex Robinson and they kept on coming back,” said coach Jamike Jarin. “We we’re able to find our shots and that was enough to hold them off.”
The Red Lions seemed to be in cruise control and led by as much as 25, 71-46, but the Pirates managed to trim it down to a manageable nine with 4:24 left.

Wilson Baltazar poured in 19 points, four rebounds, and two assists, while MJ Ayaay got 15 markers in the losing effort for Lyceum, which dropped to 1-4.
Despite the win, the grindhouse still doesn’t stop for San Beda it faces La Salle Saturday to end their three straight day schedule.
“The advantage right now for them is they are rested. We’ll see,” Jarin said.
