Pablo to set aside feelings as she faces alma mater NU
For the last five years of her life, Myla Pablo called National University home and the Lady Bulldogs her de facto family.
It’s been a harmonious stay for Pablo at NU but come Wednesday, the former Lady Bulldog captain will face her underlings in the Shakey’s V-League Open Conference

Pablo did not win a UAAP title with the Lady Bulldogs in her five-year stay but she cemented her legacy with the school when she led NU to the 2015 Shakey’s V-League Collegiate Conference title against Ateneo.
Her efforts were rewarded when she won the Finals MVP in a team that had Dindin Santiago-Manabat, and Jaja Santiago as the stars.

“Dati naman akong NU pero doon na ako sa team ko ngayon,” said Pablo. “Lalaro ako para sa team namin.”
Facing former mentor Roger Gorayeb, however, will be a nostalgic trip for Pablo as it was the feisty and fun-loving coach that made her NU’s team captain for the UAAP Season 78.
“Si coach Roger siya ang dating nagtuturo sa akin, and lahat naman ng tinuturo niya ginagawa ko pa rin,” said Pablo.
