SMC exec Chua denies PSC chair offer

The hunt for the next Philippine Sports Commissioner chair is still on.
San Miguel Corporation sports director and Ginebra San Miguel team manager of Alfrancis Chua became the latest prospect to have denied being appointed as the country’s next sports czar.

“It’s not true. I’m busy with my three teams in the PBA,” Chua told the Inquirer amid reports. “There are a lot of people out there very deserving of the position.”

When asked if he’s even been offered the job or even applied for it, the outspoken former PBA and PBL mentor said “no, never offered, and didn’t apply too.”
He also shrugged off reports that he was there in Davao City days after President-elect Duterte was proclaimed winner.
