RACAL and Tanduay seek to ride the momentum of their huge victories the last time out when they square off today even as Blustar Detergent and Topstar ZC Mindanao gun for their first wins in the 2016 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at Strike Gym in Bacoor, Cavite.

Armed with 3-1 records, the Tile Masters and Rhum Masters aim to tie Cafe France at second spot when they collide at 4 p.m.

The Rhum Masters turned back the erstwhile unbeaten Bakers, 84-80, last Thursday, but Tanduay coach Lawrence Chongson expects another dogfight against a Racal team that registered the most lopsided win of the season last Tuesday.

“It will be another tough ordeal for us, facing formidable foes one after the other,” said Chongson.

The Tile Masters overwhelmed Blustar Detergent, 122-60, last Tuesday. The winning margin fell just two points short of the league record when NLEX dismantled Zambales M-Builders, 125-61, on Jan. 30, 2014.

“It’s going to be a good game,” said Racal coach Caloy Garcia. “We just want to get prepared against Tanduay and with the way we played (against Blustar), I think we have a good chance to win.”
