LOOK: Boris Diaw extends PH stay for island vacation
Boris Diaw and the rest of the French national basketball team successfully conquered the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament in Manila and secured a slot to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics last July 10, but the burly forward opted to stay in the country a little bit longer.

While the rest of his squad have returned to their respective commitments, the French team captain decided to stay behind to enjoy some of the Philippines’ finest sights, along with his teammate, Edwin Jackson.
Article continues after this advertisementThe one-time NBA Most Improved Player of the Year winner posted a couple of photos on his Instagram page, showing him enjoying some sun, sand, and sea on one of the country’s many islands.
“Good morning philippines!!!Breakfast on the other side of the planet. #vacation,” he captioned one of his photos. His exact whereabouts, however, was not known.
Diaw, who recently got traded to the Utah Jazz, has been been playing in the league for 13 seasons and was part of the San Antonio Spurs championship squad in 2014.

The 34-year-old role player is highly regarded for his savvy footwork and exceptional court vision for his size.He also suited up for the Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns and the Charlotte Bobcats.
