Another day, another heartbreak for Francis Munsayac.

What looked like redemption turned out to be dejection as Emilio Aguinaldo College suffered another close contest, this time against Jose Rizal University.

Munsayac made what could’ve been the game-winner against the Heavy Bombers when he gave the Generals the 59-58 lead with 11.1 seconds left, but Teytey Teodoro was the one who buried the stake with his own jumper.

Teodoro’s made the game winner from top of the key with 5.3 seconds left over the defense of Munsayac.

A devastated Munsayac did not sugarcoat his words, and said a loss is a loss no matter the angle he looked at it.

Munsayac’s earlier fallout was against Mapua when the EAC captain turned the ball over and missed a potential game-tying three in the Generals’ 70-67 loss.
