Overwhelmed by the breaks coming her way, Foton main girl Jaja Santiago said she will make sure she makes the most of her stints in both the Asian and World Club championships.

“It’s too much. But I will do my best and learn from the Asian, and from there I will also try to pick up a thing or two when I play in the Worlds,” said the 20-year-old Santiago.

The 6-foot-4 natural middle blocker converted to open spiker to become useful in an import-laden team in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Women’s Club Championships Sept. 3-11 at Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna.

And while the Asian Club team was being presented Friday at Crimson Hotel in Alabang, Philippine Superliga president Ramon “Tats” Suzara gave her the “Golden Ticket,” for the FIVB (international volleyball federation) Women’s Club World Championship Oct. 18-23 at Mall of Asia Arena.

She thus joined the elite group of PSL stars seeing action in the two major events the country is hosting this year, along with Rachel Anne Daquis, Jovelyn Gonzaga and Jen Reyes.
