Unstoppable in eight matches, the Cargo Movers will take on two-time champion Petron Tri-Activ Spikers in the featured 7 p.m. match of a three-game offering.
Foton clashes with RC Cola-Army at 5 p.m., while Amy’s Kitchen (0-8) and Cignal (2-6), both fighting for placings, collide at 3 p.m.
But eyes will be on the Cargo Movers who ended the first round with a five-set win over the three-time champion Lady Troopers last Saturday. They repeated over them the next evening, the start of the second round.
“F2 Logistics is such a young team and we know that we have no chance winning over them in a game like this,” admitted Army coach Kungfu Reyes. “I think we just have to take it as a springboard to bounce back and win our remaining elimination games.”
The Asian Club Championship-bound Tornadoes (4-3) are eyeing a strong finish here before the Sept. 3 to 11 tournament.
