Cignal peaked in the nick of time and dismantled Standard Insurance Navy in three sets, 25-15, 25-22, 25-18, in the second round of the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference Saturday at San Juan Arena.

Jeanette Panaga sealed the win, and the 2-1 record, for the HD Spikers with a straight-away kill through the defense of the Corvettes.

I want them to enjoy na lang the game.”

What Acaylar did in their practice was to have the team their opponent in their tune-up games mimic Navy to simulate the match against the Corvettes.

Panaga was the high-point lady for the HD Spikers as she finished with 16 points while Jannine Navarro and Micmic Laborte added 10.
