Cardona’s condition improving after overdose

Mac Cardona’s condition continues to get better after suffering from pill overdose, according to NLEX team manager Ronald Dulatre on Wednesday.

In a statement, Dulatre said the PBA veteran, who is currently on the Road Warriors’ reserved list, has been transferred from University of Perpetual Help Hospital in Las Piñas to Makati Medical Center.

“We already transferred Macmac Monday midnight to Makati Medical Center – one of the companies under MVP Group,” the statement read.

“His condition is improving but he cannot yet accept visitors as advised by his Doctors.”

Dulatre reiterated NLEX will continue to aid Cardona his needs as he recovers from a reported suicide attempt and asked for continued prayers.

“The management will continue to provide whatever assistance he may need during his recovery…Let’s continue to pray for his fast recovery.”
