LeBron James’ 2-day Manila visit cancelled
LeBron James’ scheduled two-day visit to Philippines this week has been cancelled.
In a statement issued by Nike a day before his supposed arrival, the Manila part of James’ Asia tour has been shelved due to “logistical challenges.”
“We apologize to all the fans in the Philippines and will look to reschedule the tour in the future,” the statement also read.
Article continues after this advertisementThe four-time NBA MVP was supposed to talk to the press Thursday afternoon before meeting his Filipino fans at Araneta Coliseum for the Battle the Doubt Night.
This would have been James’ third visit to the basketball-crazy Philippines in three years.
