Perlas Pilipinas demolishes Laos by 147 points

Perlas Pilipinas crushed Laos in the most dominating fashion, 179-32, in the second day of the SEABA Women’s Championship in Malacca, Malaysia.
The Filipinos followed up their 69-43 demolition of Singapore the other day by forcing Laos to 51 turnovers that accounted for 82 of their points.

It’s more of bringing the confidence level of the girls,” said head coach Pat Aquino. “It’s also a good time to rest the starting unit for the big games ahead while taking a conscious effort at looking at the quotient dahil baka magkaroon ng triple tie, we’ll never know,”
Eight Perlas Pilipinas players finished in double figures with Jack Animam scoring a career-high 28 points and 17 rebounds.
