Even coach Topex Robinson admits that Lyceum is entering the offseason full of questions after wrapping up its campaign in NCAA Season 92.
“To be honest, there’s a lot of uncertainty,” he said after falling to St. Benilde, 65-61, on Friday. “It could’ve been better had we won our last game, but again, I guess CSB really wants to win it more than us.”

The Pirates ended their year with a 6-12 record, good for joint eighth place with Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Robinson also shared that his two-year contract is set to expire on November, leaving everyone’s fate to
the Lyceum management.
“That’s the life of a coach, once you sign, you have to be ready to get fired. I’m expiring, but fingers crossed, I get renewed,” he said. “I’ve learned a lot. I’m sure it’s going to make me a better coach, a better person, a better father. A lot of experiences with this season and if given the chance I’ll still be the coach of this team, hopefully I’ll be a better coach to them.”

But despite the doubts surrounding the team, Robinson said that the future is bright for the Pirates, especially with the impending arrival of CJ Perez.
“It’s something that personally, I’m excited about. It’s the one that keeps me growing cause I know given the opportunity next year, it’s going to be a strong lineup,” he said.
“We have a lot of support with our recruitment. Yun lang ang chance namin.”
