Day, McIlroy take rivalry to Pampanga
JASON Day, the half-Filipino who is the No. 1 golfer in the world, and Rory McIlroy, who won the FedEx Cup and the Tournament Players Championship on Monday, will play a round on Nov. 29 at Pradera Verde in Pampanga. It will be the biggest golfing event in the country—in terms of star power—after nearly two decades. Tiger Woods came to the country on January 1998 and played at Mimosa, also in Pampanga, where he was joined by Taiwan’s Chang Tse-Peng, South Korea’s Kang Wook-Soon and Filipino Cassius Casas.
