Rain or Shine saved at least half of its Extra Rice combo.

Beau Belga re-signed for a three-year contract with the Elasto Painters on Monday morning, bringing the bruiser back with the crew which will now be under coach Caloy Garcia.

The Sorsogon native shared that though the team has undergone changes, especially with the departure of coach Yeng Guiao and the blockbuster trade involving Paul Lee and James Yap, Rain or Shine should still be considered as one of the contenders for next season.

Belga also expressed confidence with Garcia calling the shots from the sidelines.

The contract extension will keep the 29-year-old big man together with his former Gilas teammates Jeff Chan and Gabe Norwood, while also ushering a new era with a motivated Yap and Washington in tow.

“Excited ako na makapaglaro kami,” said Belga.
