A bumper crop of local amateurs, led by Filipino-Japanese Yuka Saso and the pro-bound Pauline del Rosario, will be out to spoil the party of the pros in the first ICTSI Philippine Ladies Masters that tees off this Wednesday at Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa.

Saso, the anchor and individual champion of the title-winning PH Team in the World Junior Girls event in Canada last September, looms as a strong contender in the $80,000 event along with Del Rosario.

The well-built Del Rosario will be trying to take the momentum of an impressive string of international victories into the 54-hole championship.
