For Foton coach Moro Branislav, the most important thing in every country is the national team.

“Only in the Philippines you see two professional leagues, one PSL which is really the best in quality, and Shakey’s V-League. And after that you have two university leagues,” Branislav told the Inquirer during the PSL launch Thursday.

Branislav said that the country must start giving more importance on the national team which is now being formed.

“First, it’s the national team. In all the world, national team is the first,’” he added. “Only in the Philippines people see big information (publicity) on university leagues.”

Branislav said he’s open to helping the Philippine team, which is now preparing for the Southeast Asian Games and two other tournaments.
