As part of the celebration of the upcoming Filipino Heritage Week in the NBA, the league has unveiled limited edition shirts featuring the iconic jeepney.
The word “Pilipinas” is emblazoned on the silhouette of the jeepney, which has the image of the Larry O’Brien Trophy forming its headlights. The NBA logo could be found in the middle.

The Filipino Heritage week is a celebration of the Filipino traditions and culture and has also become a tradition for teams like the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors.
This year, the Heat, coached by Fil-American Erik Spoelstra, will host the event when they play the Minnesota Timberwolves at AmericanAirlines Arena on Saturday.
The Heat players, dance team, and mascot will don the limited edition shirts during pre-game warm-ups.

The Warriors, meanwhile, will take their in celebrating the event on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks at Oracle Arena.
Singer and songwriter Martin Nievera and LIKHA Pilipino Folk Ensemble will perform the Philippine national anthem and the halftime performance, respectively.
