National University setter Jasmine Nabor on Sunday said their errors plagued them as they failed to score a victory over defending champions De La Salle University in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs gave away 33 free points as they lost to the Lady Spikers in four sets, 25-21, 25-11, 15-25, 25-12, and Nabor said the team failed to recover as their errors piled up.

“When the errors started, it just kept increasing and instead of playing better we eventually focused on our errors,” said Nabor Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

NU slipped to a 5-4 record as it saw its two-game winning streak end while La Salle built its own two-game run.

Nabor added the errors eventually got into their heads.

“We started to doubt ourselves and we were frustrated once the other team took the lead and it was like we let them have their way and just let them score,” said Nabor who had two points and 25 excellent sets.
