Prior to the trade deadline, Anthony’s name had been all over trade rumors, despite owning a “no-trade” clause in his contract.

Although he never fired back to Jackson’s criticism publicly, the 10-time All-Star opened up about the possibility of leaving New York, claiming he sees “the writing on the wall.”

“The time I’m out there on the court, I’m going to play basketball. It’s the game I’ve always had fun and enjoyed,” he said. “Although it hasn’t been as fun as I would’ve wanted it to be. Try to find the joy in playing the game again.”
