LeBron James’ unparalleled greatness on the court has been on this display ever since he stepped foot in the league in 2003.

In a span of 14 seasons, the 32-year-old athletic specimen has won four Most Valuable Player awards and three NBA titles.

His undeniable talent and impressive accomplishments have led to multiple comparisons to perhaps basketball’s greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan. But as far as Jordan’s former teammate Dennis Rodman is concerned, the pair couldn’t have been more different.

In a CBS Sports interview, the flamboyant former All-Star lambasted James for voluntarily sitting out games, despite having no injuries—something that Jordan never did during his playing days.

“You know what, LeBron’s doing one thing that I always said that Michael Jordan never did,” the retired forward said. “He never rested. He played every game.”

“LeBron has the position to do this now because they need him. The league needs him, that’s why he’s doing all this crazy sh** now like b**ching and complaining,” he added.

His expletive tirade did not end there, as the temperamental Rodman even lashed out at  today’s more lenient, fast-paced and free-flowing type of game. “Now it’s easy. All these [expletive] triple-doubles. Back then when he was getting his ass whooped, I mean beat down every game.”

Rodman added: “He got tough and he got great. And greater. So, that’s it.”

After being a thorn to the side of Jordan and the rest of the team early in his career, Rodman joined the Bulls in 1995 and was an instrumental figure to the team’s three-peat title conquest.
