Romeo sits out another Gilas practice as precaution
GlobalPort star Terrence Romeo sat out Gilas Pilipinas practice anew on Monday after feeling under the weather two nights following his 35-point output in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Romeo said he was already not feeling well when he dropped his best game of the conference on Saturday in a losing effort against Blackwater and his health worsened after.

The 25-year-old Romeo cleared his decision to skip training was just a precautionary measure.
Romeo made sure to attend Gilas practice and show he is committed to the team, which is preparing for the 2017 SEABA Championship slated next month. It was also his way of keeping himself refreshed with the plays and system so he won’t need to do a lot of catching up once he rejoins the squad.

Romeo hopes to return to practice soon with Gilas about to start is daily sessions on April 17 after the Holy Week break.
“I’m just really not feeling well and I need to have a quick recovery.”
The explosive guard has only managed to participate in practice once since national coach Chot Reyes began the Mondays-only training a month ago.
