Champions, stars swap homes in Superstar Shake-Up
Midcard titles traded places and top guys changed addresses on the heels of the Superstar Shake-Up between Raw and SmackDown Live.
Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose landed on Monday nights, while United States Champion Kevin Owens found himself a home on Tuesdays.
Article continues after this advertisementBut that’s not all, as former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt lead the names which made the move to the red brand.
Joining them are The Miz and Maryse, former two-time SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, and ex-SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions Rhyno and Heath Slater.
Completing the new Raw tenants are Mickie James, Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, and Kalisto.
Article continues after this advertisementThe blue brand did get its fair share of bluechip stars, as four-time Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte made the move to SmackDown Live.
Also moving to the blue brand are The New Day, Sami Zayn, Rusev and Lana, The Shining Stars, Jinder Mahal, Tamina Snuka, and Sin Cara.
Announcers were also involved in the trades, with Raw’s Byron Saxton and SmackDown Live’s David Otunga swapping seats.
