Valdez, Creamline tackle Air Force; BaliPure seeks third straight win

Alyssa Valdez will try to bounce back from a disappointing comeback as Creamline takes on Air Force Thursday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at FilOil Flying V Centre.

Creamline dropped its tournament opener against Perlas Volleyball and should have its hands full in the 4 p.m. duel against Air Force, which scored a thrilling 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, 19-25, 15-13 victory over Perlas.

BaliPure, which is gunning for a third straight win, tests Pocari Sweat at 6:30 p.m.

BaliPure downed Power Smashers, 17-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22, Tuesday for its second win in a row. BaliPure also won over Air Force in the opener.

But the league is expected to get tougher when imports start to see action this weekend.

The reinforcements were sidelined the past game days as they had yet to obtain their International Transfer Certificates required before playing in the local league.
