Gonzaga, Morada battle Generika duo
Jovelyn Gonzaga and Maica Morada will power Cignal A against Generika-Ayala B’s Rosalie Pepito and Kat Arado in one of the matches that kick off the Belo-Philippine Superliga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup Thursday at The Sands in SM Mall of Asia.
Gonzaga topped the event last year in partnership with Nene Bautista for Philippine Army.
Action starts at 7 a.m.
Cherry Rondina, last year’s runner-up for Foton along with Patty Orendain, is now paired with Bernadeth Pons for Petron Sprint 4T, which battles the F2 Logistics A pair of Cyd Demecillo and Fritz Gallenero.
Kathleen Barrinuevo and Cherilyn Sindayen of Foton take on Ces Molina and Bang Pineda of Petron. Mylene Paat and Janine Marciano of Cignal B face off with Generika-Ayala A of Fiola Ceballos and Orendain. —MARC REYES
