Pocari has finally found its rhythm in the Premier Volleyball League after taking its third straight win at the expense of struggling Creamline, 15-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-19, Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Lady Warriors began the season with two straight losses but their recent run saw them improve to 3-2 while the Cool Smashers dropped to a dismal 1-3 slate.

Elaine Kasilag, Myla Pablo, and Cai Nepomuceno led Pocari’s three-pronged attack as they combined for 36 points.

Pocari head coach Rommel Abella told his team not to get thrown into Creamline’s pace, and instead play under their own speed after losing the opening set.

“I said to them that we should play at our own pace because Creamline was the one that dictated the tempo in the first set,” said Abella. “Good thing they listened and we were able to recover.”

“This was a big boost to the team’s morale after we lost two straight in the opener.”

Jeanette Panaga and Jessey De Leon also joined the scoring party as they combined for 17 points for Pocari.

Alyssa Valdez had 25 points to lead Creamline.
